Fouters is located in the very heart of the bustling, vibrant and perenially popular Scottish seaside town of Ayr, just opposite the town hall in Academy Street, off the famous cobbled street Sandgate. 

A cobbled lane also provides an interesting access and walkway to the restaurant which is very well signposted. The actual body of the restaurant is based in a cosy downstairs environment. Many years ago this was a bank vault but it is now producing some of the best food in Ayrshire. The ventilations is very good and a doorway to the outside patio can be opened. This very unique and intriguing atmosphere makes the restaurant very appealing without even tasting the quality of its outstanding cuisine.

Fouters is easy to get to on foot but a little different by car owing to the town of Ayr one way system. There is considerable parking down the North Harbour side, and often in Cathcart Street And if you are staying in Ayr itself - and want to eat at Fouters – best advice is to call a cab – Ayr Black Taxis on 01292 280545. There is limited parking around the restaurant.
